Angers, Brest, Lille, Marseille, Nantes, Paris, Rennes, Tarbes, these are the cities where young communists demonstrated against education policy. This February 1, they intended to put pressure on the government with their mobilization.
Make your voice heard, in different ways
In Angers, the young communists were present from the beginning of the day to help the high school students in the blockade.
At the same time, JC prepared a magnificent banner against “incompetent ministers” in Tarbes.
In the northern department, Minister Oudéa-Castéra was also singled out by an activist who spoke in front of her high school, for her shameful comments and her personal controversies.
Wherever the young communists were, speeches were made and leaflets were distributed to publicize the demands of the movement and show that, yes, it was possible to lead a different policy. Not only possible, but also realistic.
Like every mobilization day, this was a moment of strengthening the Movement. Grassroots activism, everyday activism, always pays off in these strong moments: membership is registered in Marseille, contacts are established elsewhere with a view to future activities. It strengthens the social movement.
Young people everywhere joined their teachers, in beautiful processions, to condemn the Parcoursup as well as the ongoing reform of the secondary vocational school. In Brest, the teachers gave their voice to the young communists, while in Rennes we could read, on the signs, these words that the news reminded everyone of: “the real separatism is that of the bourgeois”.
